Book 1 in the Pippa and Polly Series
Pippa loves books.
That’s the trouble.
She loves them so much that dragons, wizards and magical adventures are far more interesting than brushing her hair, listening to her mum… or playing with her little sister, Polly.
Then one day, a trail of golden feathers leads Pippa to the magical Golden Eagle Book World, where books never end, favourite characters come to life, and adventures wait around every corner.
It’s everything Pippa has ever dreamed of.
But when she discovers that staying might mean leaving her real life behind forever, Pippa must decide where she truly belongs.
Filled with humour, heart and the wonder of magic, Pippa and Polly and The Trouble With Books is a joyful celebration of books, imagination, family and the everyday moments that become the best stories of all.

A wonderful read that highlights the importance of family, as well as the magical adventures reading can take you on. As a mum of young girls, I could relate to the characters and content. The illustrations are also beautiful and bring the book to life. Highly recommend for young readers.
A beautiful story with charming illustrations. The perfect book to foster a love of books, and the wonderful worlds the written word can immerse us in.
Beautifully written and illustrated. Focusing on family and the creative wonder of imagination. Highly recommend
I loved being in Pippa’s world and how much she loves reading, nature and dreaming. The illustrations are beautiful and bring this story to life. I particularly loved the Australian context and how it highlights the importance of family.
Well written and easy to read. Great book with great illustrations. Love the way it encourages children to read and use their imaginations while also reminding them of the importance of family.
